The Greek-British Short-Term Scholarships Programme is implemented under the collaboration between the Hellenic Republic and the United Kingdom, with the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY), the British Embassy in Athens, and the British Council Greece as implementing partners.
The programme aims to strengthen academic mobility, research, and cooperation between Greek and UK universities by offering postgraduate and doctoral students the opportunity to undertake short-term study or research placements at higher education institutions in the United Kingdom.
Through these scholarships, participants gain valuable international experience, develop research skills, build academic networks, and contribute to fostering lasting links between the Greek and British academic communities.
